It's been too long since I last posted! I shall make an effort to post more as I miss doing this!
I have been making bread (sourdough bread) every day (good for the soul and a great gift!), it's my new passion! It can take years to find 'your' perfect loaf but such a lot of fun trying! I shall share my findings shortly!
I shall share more pictures and ideas as this will be quicker to do, with recipes if something new or a ' must do'.
Welcome to anyone new from my friend Laura's website. There is an article about me!!

Hello:
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight that you have returned!! And whilst we are very, no exceedingly, unlikely ever to find ourselves making bread [to butter the toast is too much in the way of cooking], we have greatly missed both you and your posts, so many of which have us drooling over the delicious things which come out of 'A Normandy Kitchen'.
Alas, we do not 'do' Twitter and so must simply hope to see you here - and more often!
Far too long indeed! My husband recently made a 'starter' and has been 'feeding' it and making sourdough. The first loaf was heavy enough to use as a doorstop but they are improving now ... !
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Ivan! Welcome back! Please so share your sourdough bread recipes . That's one of my favorite bread for sandwiches and soup. Take care, Loi
ReplyDeleteYour sourdough bread looks mouthwatering. I tried making my own starter a while back but wasn't successful.
ReplyDeleteYum! This would be perfect with your 3 celery soup. It's still my very favorite soup, and I make it on a regular basis.
ReplyDeleteI still think it contains one ugly, scary vegetable, Terry! LOL!
DeleteYou know how much we have missed you and to return with "BREAD", sourdough bread, that definitely hits it out of the ballpark!
ReplyDeleteCHeers and WELCOME BACK!
Well Mr.Ivan, you have a lot of explaining to do!! lol kidding of course.....
ReplyDeleteRon and I are drooling over the bread. We used to make bread back in the 'early days' and loved doing it. Kneading can be a very relaxing activity....my favourite part. Just may have just inspired me to give this whole bread making another chance.
Really good to see you here again.
How wonderful your return to blogland; you were definitely missed. That your posting related to bread baking just set me over the moon. Will anxiously await your sourdough series!
ReplyDeleteYour sourdough bread does look yum. I have not been that regular with my blog but like you I do miss it when I am not blogging. I feel it is therapeutic for me to share my life with others. Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Ivan. You have been missed, indeed. And with sourdough bread -- excellent!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you back, again!
